Dear Fellow Member and Friends,
The announcement last night by the Prime Minister has brought forward plans we expected to be putting into place next week or the week after. The below is a summary of what is and will or will not be happening at the club as we know it today.
This may well change as government advice changes and if so, we will advise you again. I will not repeat things that I have previously said in notifications already sent.

SYC Sonar Match Racing
Thursdays 2 to 30 July 2020
With the Americas Cup World Series being run throughout 2020, we thought we would run our own Match Racing event this Summer. Previous match racing events have been extremely popular and we hope this will be the same. In order to prolong the excitement and give everyone their chance for glory, we will be running the event in a league format over 5 consecutive Thursday evenings from 2nd to 30th July.
Each team will race each other over the course of those five weeks, and at the end of the event, the team with the most points will be crowned champion.

As promised the SYC Quiz Nights are back on the last Thursday of every month. Come as a team or turn up on the night and we'll put you together.

SYC Cowes Week Challenge
Saturday 8 to 15 August 2020
Come and sail one of the clubs Sonars at Cowes week regatta in 2020.
Individual crew places, bare boat and skippered charters will be available to club members every day during the regatta.
