DESCRIPTION:Our club has a thriving and enthusiastic Dinghy Section! \nThere are two races during each sailing session lasting approximately half an hour each\, with the faster boats completing more laps of the circuit than slower boats in the fleet. Average lap times are calculated using PY handicaps. \nThe Icicle Race 5 & 6 are the third two races for Dinghy racers and will begin at 1015hrs. \nDo keep in mind there is no set end time for this race as it is dependable on the weather and your dinghy's ability. \nLocation varies due to weather. Races can take place at either Shoreham\, Southwick or at Sea. \nIf you have not done so already\, please purchase a entry ticket for the 2026 Icicle Open. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 2026 first installment of the Dinghy Icicle Open. \nThere will be racing close to the club house and you will all be welcome for a drink after sailing. \nRacing Schedule: \nRace 1 & 2\, Sunday 4th January @ 11:00am \nRace 3 & 4\, Sunday 18th January @ 10:30am \nRace 5 & 6\, Sunday 1st February @ 10:15am \nRace 7 & 8\, Sunday 15th February @ 09:30am \nRace 9 & 10\, Sunday 22nd February @ 14:00pm \nRace 11 & 12\, Sunday 8th March @ 13:30pm \n- Please find Notice of Race and Sailing instructions here. \n- Any under 18s competing should complete the Parental Consent Form found here. This should be signed by a parent or guardian. \n- Entry tickets are per person and one ticket is only required for the duration for the series. We do request that all participants do RSVP to each race to ensure the office are aware of numbers. \n- Boat charter is also available for the following craft as an additional ticket. Price is per race day. Please note only the skipper pays for boat charter.       Sailing is a dangerous sport you hire and sail the boats at your own risk \n\nLaser\nTopper\n\nPlease purchase your ticket below to enter the series\, and remember to RSVP to each Icicle Race individually under its scheduled race date.
