Supporting Documentation for Special Resolution to Revise Sussex Yacht Club Articles of Association September 2026
Summary
The proposed Articles of Association set out the governance structure that members are being asked to approve. These have already been circulated with the Notice of Meeting.
The following documents are provided for background information only and have already been unanimously approved by the Board of Directors:

- Advisory Group Terms of Reference, Constitution & Membership
- Election and Appointment Processes
These explain how the new governance structure will operate in practice. They are governance and implementation documents, not constitutional documents, and do not form part of the resolutions being put to shareholders
The General Meeting is therefore asked to consider and vote only on the Articles of Association and any resolutions expressly identified in the notice of meeting. The Board may amend supporting governance documents from time to time, provided they remain consistent with the Articles and the needs of the Club.
